Our story
Urban Wolf catering began with a simple idea: that the best events happen when good food, a unique setting, and genuine hospitality come together.
With two chefs in the family and years working in hospitality and events, we took our passion for growing and cooking regional produce into a collaboration with Archies Creek Hotel — a place designed for people to gather and celebrate.
Today Urban Wolf hosts wakes, weddings, milestone parties and private celebrations. Accessing fresh ingredients is part of our DNA – and from the lush hills of South Gippsland and the Bass Coast, we’re spoilt for choice.
Every event is shaped by the season, the region, and the people.
The venue
Set in the heart of the Bass Coast, Archies Creek Hotel is a much loved-venue offering character and flexibility. Originally a pub dining room, it carries that warm, welcoming feel with a fireplace and beer garden, suitable for casual functions where guests are free to mingle, to seated shared banquets. Outside, gardens and covered areas provide space for ceremonies, refreshments, and summer parties.
